Over the years we have become used to enquiries from people looking to hire a van, not to transport, but rather for the storage of chilled or frozen goods. Whilst we have always been happy to help, we realised that what we were able to offer, was not really the ideal solution.
Investing in a fleet of small refrigerated trailers was the obvious choice but whilst there were a whole number of options available, none of them met all of the criteria that we were looking for.
We needed to cover both chilled and frozen requirements, with the degree of reliability that the end user demanded. We need a storage space that was not only big enough to meet the needs of our clients, and that we could easily deliver and install the unit where and when it was required. We wanted a product that was built to the same top quality as our vehicle fleet.
The answer was found in a bespoke design, combining the best of German refrigeration technology with a British manufactured galvanised chassis and thermally insulated box.
Having first trialled the design in 2016 and after a very successful 2017 and 2018, we are now expanding the fleet to meet the ever increasing demand from a whole variety of clients.
From the transportation of ice sculptures to prisoner’s lunches, our trailers have been called in to provide cool solutions for (almost!) every imaginable type of end user.
